Overview
The brief for this project was to pick an Arabic phrase and use it as a medium to create expressive typography.
My choice was the phrase from a Quranic verse, it translates to "Be and it is". Associated with the meaning are keywords such as: absolute, divine, and strength. Thus, I used factors such as high contrast, rhythm, and sharp diagonals to resemble those meanings.
